Infinite error loop has crashed NT8 multiple times while live trading

I have had an issue with my NT8 creating an infinite error loop once in the past and worked with support to restart nt8 in safemode and have not had the error since. Today I had the same issue so I am wondering if there is something that can be done on my end to stop this from happening again?

    Hello alcorr247,

    Thank you for your post.

In the past when I've seen this error, it's either due to a graphics card issue or a specific Windows Update. To be able to assist you in determine the cause of the error, I'd like to see more details about what is occurring from your log, trace, and Windows Event Viewer. Please write an email to PlatformSupport[AT]NinjaTrader[DOT]com. In the subject, make sure to include '3243134 ATTN Zachary' in the body of the message and include a link to this forum thread as well as the files I've requested:

    NinjaTrader log and trace:
    • Open Windows File Explorer (hotkey = Windows key + E) Then navigate to, "Documents" (sometimes called, "My Documents") > 'NinjaTrader 8' folder
    • Right click on the 'log' and 'trace' folders and select Send To> Compressed (zipped) Folder.
    • Send the 2 compressed folders as attachments to this email.
    • Once complete, you can delete these compressed folders.
    Windows Event Viewer:
    • Go to the start menu in Windows and search for Event Viewer
    • Expand 'Windows Logs'
    • Left click on Application
    • Right click on Application
    • Select 'FilterCurrent Log...'
    • Change the 'Logged' drop down option to 'Last 24 hours' > OK
    • Right click on Application again
    • Select 'Save Filtered Log File As...'
    • Make note of the save location, Enter a name for the file, and select Save
I look forward to assisting you further with this item.
