Unable to recover NinjaTreder custom assembly. There is not enough space on the disk

    Hi,

I was editing a strategy: copied, pasted, saved & hit compile. Then NT8 closed unexpectedly. I tried to reload but couldn't, I rebooted and tried to reload NT8 but all it only gets to "Verifying license" and then throws a message saying "Unable to recover NinjaTreder custom assembly. There is not enough space on the disk". There is plenty of space on disk. Please help with this.

    Hello Anthony_0709,

    Thank you for your inquiry.

We'll need to take a look at your log and trace files to see if we can determine what may have occurred. Rather than post those here since they may contain personally identifiable information, please send these to us directly via the platform. You can send these by going to Help > Email Support. Please ensure that Log and Trace files is checked (this is checked by default). Please include a link to this post in the body of the email and 3242730 Attn. Kate W in the subject line.

Thanks in advance; I look forward to assisting you further.

        Hello Anthony_0709,

        Thank you for your reply.

Please follow the steps below to manually attach your log and trace files to an email response so I may investigate this matter further.
        • Open Windows File Explorer (hotkey = Windows key + E) Then navigate to, "Documents" (sometimes called, "My Documents") > 'NinjaTrader 8' folder
        • Right click on the 'log' and 'trace' folders and select Send To> Compressed (zipped) Folder.
        • Send the 2 compressed folders as attachments in an email to platformsupport [at] ninjatrader [dot] com. Please include a link to this post in the body of the email and 3242730 Attn. Kate W in the subject line. .
        • Once complete, you can delete these compressed folders.
Thanks in advance; I look forward to assisting you further.

          Hi Kate,

I was able to get it up and running. I didn't notice that there was a MOUNTED volume involved that was indeed full. I moved some files around to create space (2 MB) and was able to bring it up. I'm now working on extending the capacity of this volume. Thanks a mil !!

          Anthony
