Interactive Brokers 985.1g vs 978.2c

When did the update for Interactive Brokers Trader Workstation occur? I have been using 978.2c per the connection guide the last time I installed software. I am setting up a installation and I realized that new recommended version is 985.1g. How can I be made aware when an upgrade to Interactive Brokers should be done?

We started to support TWS 985.1 during the week of July 12th 2021.

I suggest to keep an eye out on the Interactive Brokers connection guide. When a new TWS version is supported, it will be listed here.

Yes. That is is the one.

It would also be nice if NinjaTrader checked the version of Trader Workstation running and if it didn't match the recommended version that it issues a warning. Their API has functions to check the version information. This would be the easiest way to know that an update is recommended/required.
