Index Data from ThinkorSwim

I am trying to add Index data for Dollar Index from ToS; After adding the instrument and mapping to $DXY.X, the chart in NT comes up blank with no error in the log.

Hello ArbTrader,

Am I correct you entered the symbol map for "TD Ameritrade" in the instrument settings in NinjaTrader? I assume ToS refers to a TD Ameritrade connection.

What exchange is listed for this index instrument in ToS and what exchange did you enable in the instrument settings in NinjaTrader? Do you load data if you set the exchange to "Nybot" in NinjaTrader?

Yes, referring to TD Ameritrade. After updating exchange from "Default" to "Nybot" and restarting, charts are still blank. Getting the following error:

Can you please try $DX as symbol map and exchange set to 'Ice (Intercontinental Exchange)' as per the screenshot.

I updated the symbol mapping and still not getting any data in the charts. Please refer to screenshots

Can you please try $DX as symbol map in combination with the Default exchange. If that does not work, please try the Nybot exchange again.

Does it work if you try $DXY.X as symbol map with the "Ice (Intercontinental Exchange)" exchange?

In ToS plaform, $DXY on ICE. Updated to $DXY.X with ICE and same results - screen shot attached.

I suggest to try $DXY as symbol map in combination with the following 3 exchanges: Default, Nybot and Ice (Intercontinental Exchange).

Do you load data for other index instruments while connected to TD Ameritrade in NinjaTrader?

Now I am able to receive data on chart, however, price on DX jumped from 92 to 700 at EOD Aug 13. Tried deleting the historical data and same results. Screen shot attached.

Can you please tell me what exchange you have enabled that allows you to load this data?

Do you load data as expected if you right click in the chart and select "Reload All Historical Data"?

3 exchanges are enables as per suggestion, "I suggest to try $DXY as symbol map in combination with the following 3 exchanges: Default, Nybot and Ice (Intercontinental Exchange)."

"Reload All historical data" reloads the charts and 700 price goes away, however, another error pops up and charts are not updating. Please refer to the attachment

Can you please try $DXY as symbol map and with only the Default exchange. If this does not work, please try $DXY with the Nybot exchange. If still no data is loaded, please try $DXY with the 'Ice (Intercontinental Exchange)' exchange.

Setup 3 different instrument for each exchange (Default, ICE and Nybot), still getting the same results.
