Error message

As I am practicing in anticipation of going live, on my 2nd trade of the day....every day...I get this error message. It will fill the order but not my target and stop from my automated ATM strategy. As a result, I have a few questions....

1) Why is this happening?
2) Will it happen when I go live money?
3) How do I put a stop order in on an order that has already been submitted to guard against this happening in the future?

Glad to assist. This error refers to a margin violation with respect to the current sim/Playback account balance. This would only happen with a live account if your balance was also low in the real account, and that you submit an order with insufficient margin. This would also apply to any order submitted, so placing a stop would be be possible with this error.

You can verify your account margin per instrument or account balance with your broker.

You may reset the sim/Playback balance with the steps below.

• From the NinjaTrader Control Center window select the Accounts tab
• Right click on your simulation account and select 'Edit Account'
• Press the "Reset" button
