Greetings,

After installing new version, I'm getting an error message:

Unable to retrieve info for
'NinjaTrader:NinjaScript.AddOnBase' from assembly
'NinjaTrader.Custom": Unable to load one or more of the
requested types. Retrieve the LoaderExceptions property for...

NinjaTrader then exits.

Is this referring to a custom candlestick charting type I had written? Do I need to uninstall everything and reinstall? What about my indicators and workspaces?

Hello ajadams,

Thank you for your post.

I'd recommend going in and manually deleting the NinjaTrader.Custom assembly files, and then restarting NinjaTrader - this will allow those files to be regenerated, hopefully correctly.

To do this, shut down NinjaTrader. Go to your Documents > NinjaTrader 8 > bin > Custom folder. You will see at least two, possibly 3 files that start with NinjaTrader.Custom. Delete these files, then restart NinjaTrader and these will be regenerated. Are you able to start up properly after deleting and regenerating these files?

Thank you very much for the fast and accurate answer!

After deleting the three files from Documents > NinjaTrader 8 > bin > Custom folder:

NinjaTrader.Custom
NinjaTrader.Custom.dll
NinjaTrader.Custom.csproj

I restarted the software and it compiled and copied the assemblies.

All workspaces and indicators are intact and working properly.
