HLC bar chart colour

hi, is it possible to have HLC bar chart colour based on previous close? Currently HLC bar colour is being shown based on open price. Thanks

Thanks for your post and again welcome to the NinjaTrader forums!

In NinjaTrader 8 the HLC bar is colored Red when the Close of the current bar is Less than the Open of the current bar. It is colored green when the Close of the current bar is Greater than the Open of the current bar. This is the criteria that typically colors most bar types.

If you want to have the HLC bar colored based on a previous bar then you would need to create a custom indicator that can be added to the chart and repaint the bars according to your criteria. I am not aware of an existing indicator that would meet your needs.
