Access to the path 'C:\User\Admin\Documents\NinjaTrader8\Config.xml' is denied

Hi,
I'm getting this error message after a fresh install, a repair install, an uninstall followed by an install. The file it's looking for does not exist?. How do I fix this?
- "NinjaTrader unable to load vendor assembly. Please reinstall NinjaTrader: Access to the path 'C:\User\Admin\Documents\NinjaTrader8\Config.xml' is denied"
It's looking for this:
C:\User\Admin\Documents\NinjaTrader8\Config.xml

I notice the space between 'r' and '8'
C:\Users\Admin\Documents\NinjaTrader 8\Config.xml, but the error shows no space.

I'm not sure how to make this work. Please help.

Hello Frank,

The error is typically caused by virus scanner, firewall or any other application access/blocks/scans files in the Documents\NinjaTrader 8 folder. Please make sure to configure your virus scanner or other application (automatic backup software for example) so that none of the files in this directory would be scanned/locked/accessed or remove that directory from the scanning list.

The error can also be caused by a recent Windows update and/or Windows Defender that set the Windows security setting of "Controlled Folder Access" to "On".

• Please search in Windows for "Controlled Folder Access".
• Click on "Controlled Folder Access".
• Turn "Controlled Folder Access" to Off

Do you get a Config.xml file in the Documents-->NinjaTrader 8 folder after you start NinjaTrader?
