SMS Alerts
Does the SMS alert also work or applicable for cellphone numbers from the Philippines?Tags: None

Please see the information below from the link I provided.
SMS address
The service providers SMS address for sending text messages (do not enter a phone number here)
MMS address
The service providers MMS address for sending multimedia messages (do not enter a phone number here)
It seems you have a phone number entered.
Does it make a difference if you enter "+" in front of the number entered for 'Phone number'?

I think there's no difference, my bad I entered the SMS service number. I am still inquiring to SMART/TalkNText service provider here if what is the SMS address or gateway.Originally posted by NinjaTrader_Jason View PostPlease see the information below from the link I provided.

Hello Jason, I still can't seem to receive any text alerts using the "Text message via email" from Share Services. I am using T-Mobile this time and I think I configured it correctly, please see the attached file. Below is the code that I used in the testing.
Share("AlertTesting", "This is just a sample alert texting.");

No it doesn't send alert successfully, I just hide the number of SMS/MMS address but I think it is setup correctly [email protected] that is the T-Mobile SMS/MMS address. You want me to try not adding the 10digits as prefix?Originally posted by NinjaTrader_Jason View PostI'm not a programmer myself, so I can't comment on the code.
If you remove the number from the SMS/MMS address fields, so it only shows "@tmomail.net", does it send the alert successful?

SMS alerts can work for phone numbers in the Philippines, but it depends on your specific service or provider. Many platforms support international SMS, so you should be able to receive alerts on your Philippine number. Just make sure you check with your provider to confirm if there are any restrictions or additional charges.

I just saw your post, and I can't help but wonder why you’re looking into SMS alerts. I get it. They can be super handy for keeping you in the loop. I think they make life so much easier. Imagine getting a quick heads-up about important stuff without constantly checking your phone.
I remember when I set up my verification phone number for notifications; it made a world of difference. It’s like having a little assistant reminding you about appointments or even sales you might miss otherwise. Plus, it's nice not to rely on email alerts that can get buried under all the junk mail. Just make sure to use a phone number you check often.
