market replay control window does not appear

Thank you for your post.
Please write into to PlatformSupport[AT]NinjaTrader[DOT]Com along with your log and trace files and a link to this forum post.
Include ticket number 3176530 in the body of the email.
Please follow the steps below to manually attach your log and trace files to your response so I may investigate this matter further.
Open your NinjaTrader folder under Documents.
Right click on the 'log' and 'trace' folders and select Send To> Compressed (zipped) Folder.
Send the 2 compressed folders as attachments to this email.
Once complete, you can delete these compressed folders.
We look forward to assisting further.

Hi Eric, I was able to get the window to show up. I had changed a monitor to portrait orientation, so i briefly changed it back to landscape and located the window. The unusual thing was that when missing from the display, the window wasn't showing up in the taskbar with the other windows the way windows that are hiding often do, so it didn't occur to me that it might be offscreen/moveable.

Tried this with NT 8 - the window is visible via ALT+tab but otherwise not able to be clicked on in market replay mode.
ALL other windows are fine and can be tabbed to and displayed.
Deleted ALL workspaces. Same issue. Im on the right contract for the market reply data.
Can you guys please fix this? Seems like there's like a million workarounds people have done including editing workspace xml files.

Thank you for the message.
Please try removing the UI file so it creates a new one automatically and test if the Playback Tile has been moved to a visible spot:- Close NinjaTrader
- Go to the Documents Folder > NinjaTrader 8 > UI, either Delete or click and drag this file to the desktop and drop it there so we can bring it back if needed
- Now, reopen NinjaTrader and it will automatically make a new UI file
- Now, switch back to the Playback connection and test if the Playback Tile appears
