some charts not loading

Hi, some charts won't load. I have 7 charts with 7-10 indicators. I'm using IB gateway 1.80_152.

As per our Connection Guide for this provider:

You must have at least one of the following standalone Interactive Brokers API Software versions installed (browser versions are not supported)

• TWS 978.2c
• IB Gateway 978.2c

These can be downloaded from that guide as well.

Can you please let me know if you see the same when using the supported version of IB Gateway? And if so, what instruments you are trying to view? What chart timeframe as well?

thanks, I am using the gateway from your guide (978.2c). the issue often happens with M2K (micro russel) but less so the other symbols

Thank you for your reply.

You are most likely experiencing a pacing violation from Interactive Brokers.

A pacing violation may occur when the following has taken place:

• Making identical historical data requests within 15 seconds.
• Making six or more historical data requests for the same Contract, Exchange and Tick Type within two seconds.
• Making more than 60 requests within any ten-minute period.

Hi, I'm not sure, but the charts get hung up for hours. Is that typical of a pacing violation?

This is typical of a pacing violation. If Interactive Brokers detects a pacing violation, it will completely disable your data feed for a period of time.
