Chart Objects shifts to the left as candles fill

I've noticed the Chart Objects such as arrows and triangles will slowly shift to the left as the candle it points to starts to fill.
Why is this the case and how do I stop it from auto-shifting? I tried locking it but it seems like that just locks me from moving it anymore. It still shifts itself slowly to the left though...

Thank you for your inquiry.

Unlike indicators, drawing objects are static and anchored to specific data points on both the X and Y axis of the chart. As time passes and the price changes, the current market is actually moving away from the drawing objects. That is how drawing objects are intended to function. There would not be an option to change this. To be able to have a drawing object that would follow the current market, you'd need to create a custom NinjaScript indicator.
