Difference in Data between Ninjatrader and Tradingview.

    Hi,

I have been using the Ninjatrader trial and when I loaded the FUTURES data of CL for 2019 I noticed a significant price difference between the data loaded and the data on TRADINGVIEW.

I loaded the data by selecting NEW --> Chart --> CL 08-21 and then changing LOAD DATA BASED ON to custom range. I set the start (Jan 2019) and end (Dec 2019) date for the year. I loaded the minute data on Ninjatrader.

I am certain the Tradingview data is correct because I compared it to the official data on EIA. (https://www.eia.gov/dnav/pet/hist/rwtcD.htm)

    Am I doing something wrong?

    Newfutures30,

If Tradingview does not back adjust data to have this setting applied in NinjaTrader go to the Control Center->Tools->Options->Market data->Select "Merge non back adjusted" from the Merge policy drop down->click Ok then right click in your chart and select "Reload All Historical Data".

I have also provided a link below to our Help Guide that goes over the different Merge Policies that are available.
