    Percentage Change Indicator

    Hi,

Does NT8 have a percentage change indicator from point A to point B? Kind of like the way Fibonacci Retracement and Extension works, where you select 2 points and the percentage change appears.

    Hello Kay,
You can use Ruler & change Y value display unit to Percent. Hope it helps!

      Hello Kay,

As s.kinra mentions, you can use the Ruler drawing tool to display such a value. Please right click in the chart and select Drawing Tools-->Ruler. Click point A and B in the chart and then click a 3rd time for the location of the data that the Ruler displays. Double click the Ruler and set 'Y value display unit' to Percent. If you like all subsequent Ruler objects to be drawn with the same settings, please click template-->save in the lower right corner. Click the 'Save as Default' button.

        Hi S.Kinra and Jason,

Yes, That's kinda what I'm looking for. Is it possible to have a coloured line from Point A to Point B? And/or have the points A and B posted in the accompanying data box?

        Regards

        Kay Wai

Yes, you can configure the color for the anchor line in the Ruler properties menu using the 'Anchor' setting. Double click the Ruler anchor line to open its properties menu.

It is not supported to show the point A and B values in the chart. You can view them in the properties menu under 'Data'.

              Hello Kay,
Yes, you can change the color / style of connecting line by double click anchor line -> Anchor.
You would need to modify the tool by opening NinjaScript Editor -> DrawingTools -> Ruler -> right click save as "diff name" then make appropriate changes to show StartAnchor & EndAnchor.
              Hope it helps!
