Auto Breakeven Profit Trigger Behavior

Hi,

In reference to the User Guide entry on Auto Breakeven, please clarify "As soon as the market trades at..." in regard to the Profit Trigger setting:

- Does this refer to the price hitting the ask, or bid, or last?
- Does this behavior happen independently of an target order being executed, meaning that my stop could move before my trade actually occurs?

Thanks for posting.

This refers to the last traded price, meaning an actual trade must occur at this price before the Auto Breakeven triggers.

This would happen before your profit target is hit, since the target being filled would result in the stop being cancelled and the position being closed.

Does this mean that if my ATM involves two contracts, one with a 4-tick target and one with an 8-tick target (with a the second target's breakeven move at the 4-tick level of the first one), then the 8-tick's stop will move to breakeven once a 4-tick Last is reached regardless of whether my 4-tick target fills?

Correct, the stop would be moved regardless of whether the first target fills. I recommend testing it out yourself using the Sim101 account: https://ninjatrader.com/support/help...01_account.htm
