unable to record hotkeys

Hi, I'm running nt8 on bootcamp windows 10 and I'm using a mac keyboard. In attempting to record a hotkey for a drawing tool, I'm unable to record function (F) keys (no response) nor am I able to use shift + combos (error message is that I can't just use shift even though i am attempting to record shift + another key) Any help appreciated.

Hello trader3000a,

I suspect it is related to Bootcamp. Recording hot keys works without issue when testing it on my Windows PC. If you perform the instructions at the publicly available link below, are you able to record hot keys successful?
