    Issues importing historical data files

I have a few historical data files which I would like to import for Strategy Development. I was able to import one of them with no issues using:
Format: Ninja Trader (end of bar timestamps)
    Data Type: Last
Time Zone of Imported Data: UTC

NOTE that the files have the same format, fields delineated by ";"

However, I'm not able to import the rest of the files, which have the same format, giving me the following error message:
"Import of historical data failed. Please check the log for additional errors"
    And the log:
    1) Category: Default
Message: ES 03-17:Import field separator could not be identified
    2) Category: NinjaScript
Message: "Import type 'NinjaTrader(end of bar timestamps)':Error on calling 'OnNextDataPoint' method: System.InvalideOperationException: Operation is not valid due to the current state of the object. at NinjaTrader.NinjaScript.ImportTypes.TextImportType .OnNextDataPoint()

    Thanks,
    Ben.

    Hello Ben,

Can you please send me an email at "platformsupport[at]ninjatrader[dot]com" including a text file that generates these errors as well as your log and trace files.
    • Open Windows File Explorer (hotkey = Windows key + E) Then navigate to, "Documents" (sometimes called, "My Documents") > 'NinjaTrader 8' folder
    • Right click on the 'log' and 'trace' folders and select Send To> Compressed (zipped) Folder.
    • Send the 2 compressed folders as attachments.
    • Once complete, you can delete these compressed folders.
Please put 'Att Jason, 3136917' in the subject header of your email.

      Hi Jason,
Thanks so much for your prompt reply. I've found the issue. for some reasons those files that I failed to import have a header line. I finally found an application that allows me to view corrected those huge files which word pad couldn't handle. Sorry for the trouble.

      Regards,
      Ben.
