How is % win calculated?

In Trade Performance > Analysis there is a column called % win. How is this calculated and is the formula editable?

I use ChartTrader strategies to trade with stop losses and profit targets so each of my trades are often shown as 3-4 trades in the "Trades ($)" display. I would like to change % win to calculate based on "Entry Time" column rather than "Trade" column.

Thank you for your inquiry.

The % Win column is calculated by taking the number of winning trades divided by the total number of trades. When using ATM strategies with multiple targets, each entry and exit will be treated as trade of it's own. Unfortunately, there is not currently an option to group trades by entry time or ATM Strategy in NinjaTrader 8's Trade Performance window.

Thanks for the quick response.
So there is no current way for me to edit this formula? I know there is a script editor for indicators, but is there none for Trade Performance stats?

There would not be a way to change the behavior of the existing % Win column, but it is possible to create custom performance metrics via NinjaScript. You may find some documentation about this within our help guide at the link below;
