Frequency of Logs update

Hi,

I am testing a strategy with small orders and I noticed that wherever I have an open position the system logs out the position itself every 10 seconds like in the snapshot.
This could generate a large log file on disk. Besides, I am logging other information myself with I actually need but unfortunately I cannot see clearly among all these default Position logs.
So, is there any way to set the frequency of these logs or turn them off at all?

Thanks for the post.

There would not be a way to limit the output, the information being shown would be based on the events observed with that connection. Can you tell me what connection is being used?

Hi Jesse,
I am actually connecting to Bitfinex crypto exchange through a third party application.
So, are you saying that these logs are related to this connector and not to NT8?

Thanks for the post.

Yes, the position update event is generally only sent by the provider when something changes surrounding the position or when the connection is first started. There may be other reasons but you would not generally see a polling type of logging like that. For order events you can see logging like that when you have trailing orders being updated frequently but the position would generally not change that frequently to see updates that often.

I would likely suggest reaching out to the third party to see if they can provide any insight on that or limit the updates they do.
