Instrument List for nyse, nasdaq and Xetra equities...

I want to have instrument list for all american stocks and another for all german stocks.
I know how to add one symbol to an instrument list, but for over 3500 german stocks it will take to much time to add each single stock.
I got an .txt and and .csv File, each item with a ";" separated, but I always get a error message, that there iss a fault of formation. when i add only 5 or ten symbols this error message diddn`t occur.
Where do I get lists (.txt) with an appropiate formate for all american and german stocks?

Can you please tell me what the error message exactly says. Does it not tell you where in the .txt file the fault lies?

We don't provide such instrument lists ourselves. However you can obtain instrument lists at the publicly available link below.

• Register for this website (data preferences don't matter)
• Select desired exchange
• Download symbol list
• Open in Excel (if the file opens in text editor by default: CTRL A, CTRL C, open excel, CTRL V)
• Delete column B
• Save as type = Text (tab delimited) (*.txt) > Yes > Exit Excel > Don't Save
• NT8 > import > Stock Symbol List
