How to see past trades of strategy

I have a NT8 strategy that I coded up in C#. Now I want to apply it to a chart just to see what trades it would have taken in the past few days. I do NOT want it to trade live yet, I just want to see the trades it would have taken. Do I need to be in a demo account to do this? How exactly do I do this?

This just runs from the current moment. It does not show trades in the past. How do I see trades in the past?

This will be shown automatically regardless of the account selected. I suspect that no trades are being shown due to the logic of the strategy itself. Does the same occur if you enable the 'Sample MA crossover' strategy on the Sim101 account?
