I'm having the same issue with ibhk50, however when I check the exchange in tws it's SMART, and I can't seem to find anything related in the instrument setup.
    Any advice please?

      Hello nuobo,

CFD instruments use the "Default" exchange in NinjaTrader Desktop.

I assume you refer to the @HONGKONG50 CFD instrument. It does not have a symbol mapping defined by default for Interactive Brokers.

If you enter IBHK50||||HKD as symbol map, do you receive market data?

Other CFD instruments have a symbol map entered by default for Interactive Brokers. For example, @NAS100 has IBUST100||||USD as symbol map.

Yes, the screenshot shows the symbol map of IBHK50||||HKD

If you test the @NAS100 and the @FRA40 instruments, do you receive market data?

Unfortunately it is not supported when there is no symbol map by default.

I just tested it and yes the NAS100 and the FRA40 worked perfectly. I noticed that they were mapped by default and have proper instrument types as CFD, instead of the ibhk50 CFD instrument type being stock. So I assume that can be mapped as well, it's that right?

The @HONGKONG50 instrument is a CFD instrument. If there is no symbol map defined by default, it is not supported.
