Remove an old NT8 installation

Good morning everyone

Since last sunday I've to reinstall the W10 OS, NT8 doesn't work anymore.

I tryed to run the application from the main file NinjaTarder in the folder: NinjaTrader 8\bin64

But unfortunately NT says that "Unable to recover NinjaTrader custom assembly. Could not find a part of the path C:\Program Files (x86)\NinjaTrader 8\bin\Custom\Backup\NinjaTrader.vendor.cs"

So, what is the best way to remove the old installation and install a new?

Also I've to say that NT8 does not appear in W10 Applications registry

Can you please check if you are able to start NinjaTrader without error after reinstalling NinjaTrader.

• Make sure NinjaTrader is shut down.
• Download and install NinjaTrader 8.0.24.2 from the link below.

For sure Jason. I'll do. But firstly I've to remove the old installation. The old files are on my disk yet, So, my question is

How do I remove the old installation?

Remember, yesterday I've to reínstall W10 on my computer

But NinjaTrader does not show under "App & features" in Windows as you mentioned. Are you able to start NinjaTrader after reinstalling it?

W10 does not show under Application, but indeed the old installation is on the disk. Thats windows


I suposse if i could remove the old installation and I intall a new application I could start NinjaTrader. But unfortunately I'm not at this point right now. Right now what I've to do is remove the old installation which is in my disk yet.

Once I've an empty disk, with noone NinjaTrader, I could begin to think in reinstall again, does make sense?

Please don't delete NinjaTrader installation files manually as it can lead to further issues. Please reinstall NinjaTrader first. Then if you like you can uninstall/reinstall it.
