Incorrect first bar of the day on Fx minutes charts when connected to IB.

Would anybody have a suggestion on how to fix this issue? First bar of the day on minutes charts is incorrect on any Fx chart, although the TWS chart is correct. Here is one example:

    Hello micah58,

    Thank you for your inquiry.

I am seeing the exact same on my end when I test with my Interactive Brokers connection. This is simply how the bid/ask data from Interactive Brokers looks for this instrument. It is important to note that the data that you are viewing in TWS is different than the data that is sent through their API. When charting forex instruments, TWS uses the midpoint between the bid and the ask as the 'Last Price' by default. NinjaTrader handles the lack of 'Last Price' in forex data a little bit differently and uses the 'Bid' price instead to drive the chart. You can actually see this within TWS if you chart the bid/ask price instead of the midpoint. Please see the attached image.

As far as why Interactive Brokers bid/ask data looks this way, I couldn't be certain. Since their historical data comes entirely from their servers, we don't have a lot of insight into their data handling. You would probably need to contact their support team to get a better understanding of why it looks this way.

Please let us know if we may assist you any further.
