Using Interactive Brokers default delayed data with Ninjatrader 8
Hi there, I have downloaded the free version of NT8 and connected it to my IB account according to the official NT8 description. With IB I only have the free default delayed market data, I have not subsribed to any other data feeds. When I open NT8 with the IB connectoin with the free default delayed IB market data, the charts are just blank. If in NT8 I switch to the free Kinetick end-of-day data feed, however, I can load all the charts. So, I was wondering, is it at all possible to use the free IB default delayed data feed in NT8 and if so, are there any additional steps in configuration I need to take?
Kind regards.Tags: None

Hello systemtrader4,
Thank you for your post.
Delayed data is not supported within NinjaTrader. In order to plot data within NinjaTrader using your Ib account, real-time data will need to be enabled for your account.
Please contact IB to confirm your account is enabled for real-time data for the instruments you want to load. After enabling real-time data, please restart NinjaTrader.
Please do not hesitate to contact us for any other NinjaTrader inquiries you may have.
