Options Issues with Interactive Brokers

    Options Issues with Interactive Brokers

    I am Connecting through TWS from Ninja Trader 8. I have no issues with Equity Orders and Equity Data in Ninja Trader when Connected to Interactive Brokers. However, Option Data, Options orders and positions are not being displayed correctly or executed correctly from inside Ninja Trader. The PnL for Option Positions are incorrect, Option Positions that are closed still show as being open, and option orders are being executed and filled incorrectly. (Limit Orders fill at the maximum Limit Price every time, not matter what... resulting large negative position instantly).

    There are clearly data integrity and data sync issues, as well as order execution issues with Ninja Trader around options. It is not my TWS Workstation Connection, as I have no issues with Equities. And it is not Interactive Brokers as these issues do not occur when I trade options in TWS.

    Are there known issues with Trading Options in Ninja Trader through an Interactive Brokers connection?

        I am not sure what happened here when JD_Capital posted that resulted in no response from us - I apologize about that.

        vivekniwas so I may accurately assist you, please answer all of the following questions:
        • What version of NinjaTrader 8 are you using? Please provide the entire version number. This can be found under Help -> About (Example: 8.0.?.?)
        • What version of TWS/Gateway are you using?
        • Are there errors on the Log tab of the Control Center? If so, what do these errors report?
        • Can you elaborate on how the positions or orders are incorrect in your experience?
