    ES accounts - maximum position quantities

    Hi,

    I am testing some global macro trading ideas on sim101, where I build up my position 10 lots at a time at different levels as market goes with my conviction. It seems once I hit 140 or so lots in ES, NT8 gives me error when placing new orders that order can't be placed because it exceeds instrument's maximum position size.

    I went to accounts tab, selected edit account & set maximum position size to 1000 & even more, still same issue exists when trying to build up my positions.

    How to solve this issue?

    Thank you for your note.

    Please follow the steps below to manually attach your log and trace files to an email to platformsupport[AT]ninjatrader[DOT]com with "ATTN CHRIS S 3079765" in the subject line so I may investigate this matter further.
    • Open your NinjaTrader folder under Documents.
    • Right click on the 'log' and 'trace' folders and select Send To> Compressed (zipped) Folder.
    • Send the 2 compressed folders as attachments to this email.
    • Once complete, you can delete these compressed folders.
