NinjaScript access to Indicator dialog options?

Hello Support & Forum,

I would like to use the same indicator for both the price panel and a subpanel. I am changing the color of plots based on which panel they are plotted in. Those meant for the subpanel would be transparent in the price panel and those meant for the price panel would be transparent in the subpanel. I have looked at "IsOverLay" and "DrawOnPricePanel" but it appears their state does not change if you select a different panel than the price panel in the Indicator's properties dialog visual options. Is there another object to conditionally change plot color on depending on if it meant for the price panel or not?

Could there be a cashing issue going on? All the Indicator's parameters are identical making the signatures identical. The only difference being the Indicator's properties visual option selection of a subpanel.

Thank you for your post.

You could use PanelIndex to figure out if the indicator is applied to the primary chart or whether it's being displayed in a secondary panel:

I've attached a simple example that shows plots for either the close price or the open price depending on whether it's applied to a chart panel or an indicator panel. Changing the panel it's in will show the changes.
