How to Apply Trading Hours to Market Analyzer

Dear Support,

I use Market Analyzer to screen watchlists based on certain indicators. While I can use, for example, the Default 24x5 for daily data series to generate signals on my chart, this is not possible to implement in Market Analyzer. Therefore, the generated signals on Market Analyzer are not consistent with those on the chart, simply because the Market Analyzer uses the default session hours.

How do I use a different session market hours for Market Analyzer to reproduce screening results consistent with chart signals when a condition is met?

Thank you very much for your post.

As the Market Analyzer itself is a real-time tool, it generally displays all data as it arrives and would not filter this.

The only way to apply a trading hour template would be through an indicator itself.

To give you an example; If I add two VOL indicators to the Market Analyzer, I can then modify the trading hour templates applied and record a different volume in each column:



Are you able to create these signals through an indicator on the Market Analyzer, or would it be based on a different column?

I was missing the "Trading Hours" input in Market Analyzer column for the indicator. On a chart, the "Trading Hours" is under the chart "Data Series" properties not as part of the indicators' properties applied to the chart. That was the source of my confusion.

I am cleared now. However, perhaps the Market Analyzer should have a generic "Market Hours" input that is applied to all columns for relative consistency of information in all columns, .
