How to make optimization with renko bars ?

I have tried to optimize my strategy with renko bars but it works only with regular time bars (1Min 5Min etc...)
Please advise how to make optimization with renko bars ?

Thanks for your post.

In the strategy optimizer, in the data series select the bar type "Renko".

Next, left-click on the check box in the "Optimize" section that shows "Optimize data series". Once checked you should see selections for optimizing the Renko bar.

I meant that I'm not able to run my strategy with input of Renko bars but i have not see any result.
Do you have any video which instruct how to use the strategy analyzer with Renko bars ?

Thanks for your reply.

There are no videos specific to running Renko bars in the strategy optimizer.

Do you see any errors listed in the "Log" tab of the Ninjatrader control center when you run the optimizer on your strategy? Any errors would need to be addressed.

If no errors, then please test the strategy Sample MA Crossover using the same period and bars. This is an always-in strategy and if you have the tick data we would expect to see trades.

If no trades then it may be a data issue. Renko bars require tick data for the duration of the test period. You can always change the analyzer "Display" to show a chart which would show any bars.

If there are trades then it would be a strategy issue to debug.
