How to trade using CQG

Once I open an account with CQG, am I using Ninjatrader platform to trade or do I have to somehow connect ninjatrader to cqg platform to do that?
Is it just a matter of connecting to CQG live data and then start trading as I normally do with NT? I would like to run some algorithms I made and I am assuming this can be done with NT only without the need of me downloading CQG platform to my computer, is this right?

Hello Eddie,

Thank you for contacting NinjaTrader support.

NinjaTrader has a built-in API for for CQG-based connections. As a result, you would not need to download any additional software from CQG to set up the connection.

Can you please clarify which brokerage/clearing firm is providing you with the account connection for CQG?

The broker is GFF Brokers and I've just had my account approved, now I intend to start using my algorithm with it.
