Ruler off on bars

Hi,

The ruler tool seems to count the bars incorrectly by -1 bar for whatever reason.

So if there's actually 8 bars, it'll only show 7 bars.

Glad to assist. Testing on my end, I am so far unable to replicate this behavior. Can you please post a screen shot of the noted example with the ruler shown?

What version of NinjaTrader are you using? Please provide the entire version number. This can be found under Help -> About (Example: 8.0.?.?)

I also see an older version is in use. Please update at your convenience using the steps below steps.

• First get your license key from NinjaTrader under Help> License Key then exit NinjaTrader
• Click on the link: http://ninjatrader.com/PlatformDirect
• Enter your license key and press Submit
• Select 'NinjaTrader 8'
• Select 'Download'
• Critical: Before running the installer, ensure NinjaTrader is closed.

If you still see the same, please write into to PlatformSupport[AT]NinjaTrader[DOT]Com along with your log and trace files and a link to this forum post.

Include ticket number 3042156 in the body of the email.

Please follow the steps below to manually attach your log and trace files to your response so I may investigate this matter further.
Open your NinjaTrader folder under Documents.
Right click on the 'log' and 'trace' folders and select Send To> Compressed (zipped) Folder.
Send the 2 compressed folders as attachments to this email.
Once complete, you can delete these compressed folders.
