Can indicator/strategy developers get clients IP addresses?

Hey Team,
I was just curious what information do indicator/strategy developers get of users? do they just see Machine ID or can they see other things like IP address or machine information?

Thanks for your post.

Since NinjaScript is built upon C#, so anything is possible with what the script can do. Like any other application that we download and choose to run, we should verify that it comes from a trusted source before we run it on our PC.

An untrusted NinjaScript could retrieve your Machine ID and IP address if script includes code to extract that information.

NinjaScripts that are available on our User App Share are open source, and would be quickly spotted by others if they did nefarious things such as this, and NinjaScript AddOns provided by vendors in our EcoSystem would come from NinjaTrader approved vendors.
