Ninjatrader 8 Doesn't crash or hang but disappears in a Blink

While working to update and make changes to indicators in a chart, Ninjatrader simply disappeared in a blink. It didn't hang or freeze but just disappeared. I lost all my work as nothing was saved. I've been noticing this for a couple of weeks but I was always able to relaunch with no harm done. Today I lost a bunch of work and it was frustrating.

I've got the error logs from Windows , not sure if those are helpful.

Is this a new issue?
what are my options?

Thank you for your post.

We are not aware of any issues that would cause the platform to simply 'close', as it should always throw an error message if this occurs.

To research this further, I'd like to take a closer look at your log & trace files, as well as Windows' Event Viewer logs. Would you be able to send us these documents?

The easiest way to accomplish this would be to first save Windows' Event Viewer logs, to do this, please follow the steps below:

• Right-click the Windows Start button and select "Event Viewer"
• Expand 'Windows Logs'
• Left-click on Application
• Right-click on Application
• Select 'FilterCurrent Log...'
• Change the 'Logged' drop down option to 'Last 24 hours' > OK
• Right-click on Application again
• Select 'Save Filtered Log File As...'
• Make note of the save location, Enter a name for the file, and select Save

Within NinjaTrader 8, please click on Help > Email Support, and attach the file to the message, while leaving the "Log & Trace files" checked.
