Chart Viewing SIze

I use footprint charts and have other indicators as well. when I hit the "F" button in the top right corner it squeezes everything into the visible area of the screen which is fine but I cant read the footprint chart because the text is too small, so I expand the screen and a lot of times the footprint goes out of the viewable area, but the text is now at a size I can see it, but it's off the screen. is there a way to make the viewable area floating so that I can grab the screen with my mouse and just move what I want to see into a viewable area?

If you hold the CTRL-key on your keyboard, you can drag the chart with the left mouse button without zooming in or out or changing the vertical axis. Would this help?
