Enterlong in future stock

I am quite new to stock and not understand certain term.

Confuse about enterlong for future stock.

For example, I buy 5 quantity now with price 183.74.
Why do i need the stopprice ??

Why when the stopprice is lower than the entrylong price then do it really loss money??

So from the picture, is that mean i do own 5 quantity stock for that future stock ??

enterlong =183.74.
stopprice= 183.59.This is to protect loss
profit will be 187.74 upward

Do not forget stopprice is lower than enteryprice because you have a buymarket order.

Ok,the stoprice is to protect lose.

Hello Kawasaki,

A profit target needs to above the average entry price f you are buying shares, the stop loss would be below the average entry price to protect losses if the market turns against you.

You may want to consider the cost of commissions when setting a profit target if you would like the profit target to account for the cost of commissions in the trade.
