Connecting to Think Or Swim

Hi,

I'm trying to connect to thinkorswim and was using your connection guide to do that. Unfortunately when i click on Authorize, I'm getting this message "Unhandled exception: The system cannot find the file specified". What does that mean? And how do I resolve it?

This is typically related to not having Internet Explorer 11 installed on your machine as this is needed to complete the Authorization process.

Please try the steps below one at a time. Make sure to follow the steps, restart the PC, then attempt to authorize the TD Ameritrade connection once more:

• Make sure all Windows updates are installed under Start > Settings (Cog Wheel) > Update & Security
• Then within Control Panel > Programs and Features > Turn Windows features on or off, make sure 'Internet Explorer 11' is enabled
• Check that Internet Explorer 11 is installed in Start menu > Settings > Apps and features > optional features. If not, select and install 'Internet Explorer 11'
