Why strategies disable when I manually close positions?

I've been experiencing something that it seems to be an expected behavior but I need to know if it is possible to change it. I got a strategy running that opens a position, then I manually close the position and the strategy gets disabled. Why would you do that?. I have developed strategies for other platforms MT4, FXCM Trading Station and Dukascopy JForex and in none of these you can find this feature.

Thank you for your post.

This would indeed be expected behavior. In general manual actions (submitting manual orders, closing positions with the Close button, etc) are not suggested while working with NinjaScript strategies because it will not be aware of the changes. Pressing the Close button specifically will terminate the script. You can have the strategy create its own buttons, which you could then submit a strategy based close with, and that would not disable it. There is not a way to turn this behavior off.
