Trade a demo account with free NT8

Hi

Is it possible to trade on a Interactive Brokers demo account with free version of NT8?.


I opened a IBKR demo account, downloaded the Trader Workstation and make the configurations as indicated at this link (https://ninjatrader.com/ConnectionGu...nnection-Guide ) selectring NT8, and it is working.

I opened a IBKR demo account and I configured it in NT and when I connect the light is green.

I run my strategy and opens and closes trades as expected, but the trades are still ending up at SIM101 account.

Is this because I'm running the free NT8?

Hello,

To trade to an IB paper account you would need a live license key. However you can connect to this IB connection for data and trade to the built-in Sim101 account within NinjaTrader at no cost. Just be sure your IB account is enabled for live data instead of delayed data.
