Multiple account data

Hello,

If I have the multiple broker version of NT8, and I have multiple TDA accounts, one with live data and one without. Can I configure NT8 to use stock the data from live account, but trade on the account without the live stream? I would have to be logged into both at the same time obviously....

How would one configure that?

To configure this, you'd want to create both connections using the connection guide below;

Once you've configured both connections and confirm that they are able to connect, you will want to be very deliberate in the order that you connect to them. When using multiple connections that support the same types of data, connection order matters. You will want to always connect to the account that has live data first, then connect to the second account that does not have live data. This will ensure that the data comes from the correct connection. If you use 'Connect on Startup', only use it on the connection that is enabled for data so that you can be certain that you are connecting in the correct order.

Lastly, once connected to both connections in the proper order, you may select either account from any of the 'Account' drop down menus of any of the order entry windows to place orders to the account that you'd prefer.
