Split the Spread

Is there a way to submit an order to Split the Spread like you can in TWS?

Unfortunately NinjaTrader does not have the order options that are described at the link provided. You can manually submit orders between the bid and ask price - you would submit the order at a price that is within the spread. There are no settings or buttons that will submit the order at a certain percentage/certain amount of ticks from the bid/ask price.

We do provide the Auto Chase feature which will automatically adjust a limit order as the market moves away from it. Please see the link below for information.

In addition, you can configure a custom order in the Hot Keys window to submit a limit order X amount of ticks from the bid/ask price. Please see the following link for more information.

It would be nice, too, if NinjaScript Strategies could submit MidPrice orders to IB. See https://www.interactivebrokers.com/e...s/midprice.htm for information about MidPrice orders.
