The price data on my charts is delayed

The price action on my charts is delayed and not in sync with the Chart Trader Bid/Ask or Current Prices.

What should I do to fix it?

Thank you for your note.

This is typically due to rendering delay due to multiple complex workspaces or inefficient indicators not being able to calculate fast enough to keep up with the live market.

I would first ensure that you do not have any unnecessary workspaces working in the background and closing these workspaces.

Lastly, you may check the NinjaScript Utilization Monitor to see what (if any) NinjaScript items may be contributing to the symptoms:

Please open the NinjaScript Utilization Monitor:

• Control Center > New > NinjaScript Output
• Right-click within the NinjaScript output window > Select 'NinjaScript Utilization Monitor...
• This window will begin to populate with NinjaScript items in order of time spent processing

Any items that are at the top of this list and are increasing at a few hundred or thousands of milliseconds on every update would be the most likely culprit.

I would then recommend removing these indicators from your chart(s) and then reloading all historical data to test by right clicking your charts and selecting 'Reload all Historical data'.
