Order Status Not Updating in NinjaTrader with TD Ameritrade

When I place or update orders in NinjaTrader using the TD Ameritrade connection, the orders are always successfully sent to TD Ameritrade.

But I have a problem with the order status not updating in NinjaTrader. Occasionally the status does update, but usually it does not.

If I close the connection and then reconnect, the order status is correctly displayed.

Please send me your log and trace files so that I may look into what is occurring.

You can do this by going to the Control Center-> Help-> Email Support

Ensuring 'Log and Trace Files' is checked will include these files. This is checked by default.

I am also posting my reply here as well for visibility.

Unfortunately, this is a known symptom with the root cause being on TD Ameritrade's backend. There have been many other reported cases from users where order status is not updated until you restart or reconnect, resulting in an incorrect position display in the platform.

TD Ameritrade is aware of this issue and is currently working on a solution, but there is no solution at this time.

TD Ameritrade has let us know they're working on a new API to combat these symptoms, however, they have no estimate on when this may be available.
