help starting nt8

downloaded free version-following the NT continuum connection guide. after putting in demo username and password and clicking OK getting an error message about Kinetick! cannot get live chart right now and require more specific instructions

Glad to assist. This usually indicates there is an issue with the account setup. You can use the steps below to verify the connection.

Please go to Connections > Configure.

Select the connection you created via Configured in the lower left. Once selected, the settings will show to the right.

Under the right Properties, verify that "NinjaTrader Continuum" is selected. If not, recreate the connection with this selected from the Available menu.

• The log in credentials are case-sensitive and can be difficult to type manually. I advise copying and pasting them directly from the email into NinjaTrader. Make sure, when highlighting to copy, that no extra spaces are highlighted before or after the log in details.
• For the Demo account, make sure the "Demo" box is selected when entering the log in details.
