Ninjatrader 8 with new Ryzen AMD Chip

Hello all,

Iˋm thinking of buying a new Laptop with the new Ryzen 9500hx for my work. Does anybody bought a PC with the new AMD Ryzen Chipset?
Is NT8 still working ? Or does it even perform better, like faster compilation or data crunching ?
Any comments?

Ok, another question. Does Ninja 8 perform number crunching tasks on the GPU (graphic card).

Would it make sense to have a higher rated GPU to fasten up backtest time?

Would a super high end GPU significantly increase that time or is it only a nice to have -5% ?

Most charting operations are handled by the GPU, so a powerful GPU can improve chart performance. With that said, CPU is still a critical part as a whole and should not be ignored. I would not recommend spending a lot of money on any single component without further research from your peers and learning more about how you specifically intend to use NinjaTrader.
