Real-Time Data Not Being Received From IB Connection

I'm running NinjaTrader Version 8.0.23.1 64-bit connected to both Kinetick via IQFeed and Interactive Brokers. My Options for Market data are set to the following:

Preferred connections - historical
> CFD = None
> Crytocurrency = None
> Forex = Interactive Brokers
> Future = IQFeed
> Index = IQFeed
> Options = Interactive Brokers
> Stock = IQFeed

Preferred connections - real-time
> CFD = None
> Crytocurrency = None
> Forex = Interactive Brokers
> Future = IQFeed
> Index = IQFeed
> Options = Interactive Brokers
> Stock = IQFeed

I'd like to receive historical and real-time data in NinjaTrader for two Dow Jones indexes: (1) Dow Jones U.S. Total Stock Market Index, and (2) Dow Jones U.S. Index. About this...

A. Kinetick via IQFeed provides index 1 via symbol DWCF.X, but it doesn't provide index 2; and
B. Interactive Brokers provides index 2 via symbol DJUS, but it doesn't provide index 1.

So, I'm connected to both Kinetick via IQFeed and Interactive Brokers, and while I am receiving real-time data for index 1, I'm not receiving real-time data for index 2. Please provide guidance re. what I need to do to receive real-time data for both indexes; thank you.

Thank you for your post.

Unfortunately it is not currently possible to set preferred connections for specific instruments, only at the instrument class level. This would mean all data for indices would need to come from the same connection and you would need to switch your preferred connection in order to see the one not coming from the currently set connection.

However, I have added a vote for you to a current feature request to allow setting preferred connections for specific instruments. This request is being tracked under the number SFT-1967.

As with all feature requests, interest is tracked before implementation is considered, so we cannot offer an ETA or promise of fulfillment. If implemented, it will be noted in the Release Notes page of the Help Guide.
