Stock with the same code on US and UK exchange problem

I wish to get a chart for the london stock exchange quoted vodafone code VOD. There is already a VOD on my system listed for the Nasdaq exchange. I have tried to enter a new instrument for the LSE VOD but get an error message saying that VOD already exists. Please help.

Thanks for your post.

From the Instruments list, you can delete the US entry and then create a new entry with the desired symbol mapping and then try to plot the chart again.

Thanks Marco, that has worked. Would it be possible to make changes in the software so that both stocks are available to be charted?

Thanks for the reply.

You can change the "Master Instrument Name" of the instrument to a different name such as VODUK and use that to plot the UK version, for example.
