Same Account Different Time Frame

My understanding is that with NT I can have two different trades as long as I use a different time frame under the same account #? Is this possible. For example:

MES 03-21 60 Minute Acct# 1234
- Go Long

MES 03-21 2000 Tick Acct# 1234
- Go Short

Currently if I try to go short on the 2nd time frame it takes me out of the first hand. Any ideas?

Hello bc24fl, thanks for writing in.

It is not possible to be long and short on the same instrument on the same account. When a long order exists and then the short order is seen, NinjaTrader submits a sell order for the short position, but in reality, this exits the long position. You would need multiple accounts to separate the trades.
