Sync drawings across charts

I'm aware that I can change the drawing settings and attach it to all charts. But is it possible to make a default setting so I don't have to change it every time I draw?

Thank you for writing in.

To change the default for your drawing tools please follow the steps below:

• In your chart window, right-click and select Drawing Tools > Drawing Objects
• Select the drawing tool you want to edit
• Make sure everything is set up how you want it
• Select 'template' > 'save' > 'save as default'

I'm aware of those steps to make it default, but the "Attach To" goes back to its original settings.

Thank you for your reply.

You will need to set the drawing tool to all charts and then save the template as default. That way the default template will show on all the charts you want.

I did that, all the settings gets saved except "Attach To." Unless I'm doing something wrong.

Thank you for your reply.

After testing on my end it seems the all charts is not saved inside of the template. So you will just need to manually change this one option for your drawing tools to show on your other charts.
