    Importing Historical Data...

    Hello,

    I am having some issues with Historical Data. I've imported data for the last 5 years correctly, however my charts still only go back 3 months and the Strategy Analyzer only goes back 3 months.

    Any idea what could be causing this?

    Thanks for the post.

    What version of NinjaTrader are you using? Please provide the entire version number. This can be found under Help -> About (Example: 7.0.1000.? or 8.0.?.?)
    • What is your NinjaTrader license Key? You will find this under Help -> License Key
    • Who are you connected to? This is displayed in green on lower left corner of the Control Center window.
    • Who is your broker?
    • What instrument symbol (and expiry if applicable) have you selected? For example, ES 12-20, AAPL, EURUSD, etc.

      • What is your NinjaTrader license Key? You will find this under Help -> License Key DDA0-4A4B-1715-43AA-BB4E-0E24-3A42-3B76
      • Who are you connected to? This is displayed in green on lower left corner of the Control Center window. My Forex.com
      • Who is your broker? Forex.com
      • What instrument symbol (and expiry if applicable) have you selected? For example, ES 12-20, AAPL, EURUSD, etc. AUDNZD

        Thanks for the reply.

        When you go to Connections->Configure and select your My Forex.com account, do you have the box next to 'Use NinjaTrader Historical data servers' checked? If not, pelase disconnect, check that box, then reconnect and test the data download again.

        We know that there are some limitations with Forex.com's historical data servers, but ours should provide at least a year of historical tick data, though likely more.

        I also see that you're using an older version of NinjaTrader 8. To update NinjaTrader, please follow the steps below:
        • First, copy your license key from NinjaTrader under Help> License Key then exit NinjaTrader
        • Click on the link: https://ninjatrader.com/PlatformDirect
        • Enter your license key and press Submit
        • Select 'NinjaTrader 8'
        • Select 'Download'
        • Critical: Before running the installer, ensure NinjaTrader is closed.
